Public video download

Paste a link to any public post and the downloader finds every video in it, including videos inside a quoted post, and returns each one as the highest-bitrate MP4 X has. That's the same file the X app streams at its highest quality setting, so there's no re-encoding and no watermark.

It accepts the links people actually copy: x.com and twitter.com URLs, mobile links, share links with tracking parameters on the end, fxtwitter and vxtwitter embed links, and t.co short links. Download each video with one click, or download all of them at once when a post has several.

The quality you get is capped by what was uploaded. A video posted in 720p can't be saved in 1080p by any tool, but you'll always get the best version available.

How do I save a Twitter video on iPhone?

Copy the post link in the X app, open this page in Safari, paste and download. The video goes to Files, then Downloads. Open it and tap Share, then Save Video, to move it to Photos.

Can I download Twitter videos in HD or 1080p?

Yes, when the video was uploaded in HD. The tool always returns the highest-bitrate version X stores. If the creator uploaded in 720p, that's the best any tool can get.

Why can't I download a video?

The account may be protected, the post may be deleted, or the link may point to a profile rather than a post. Make sure the link includes /status/ followed by a number, or try the post's share link.

Can I download a video from a quoted post?

Yes. Paste the outer post's link and videos from the quoted post are included.

Does the downloaded video have a watermark?

No. You get the original MP4 file without any added branding.

Can I download videos from private accounts?

No. Only public posts can be downloaded.

Is it legal to download Twitter videos?

Saving a public video for personal use is generally tolerated, but republishing someone else's video without permission can infringe copyright. Check X's terms and the creator's wishes before reusing it.
