How to add the Xholic MCP server to Manus

Connect your X account to Xholic first (one click with X's official sign-in, during the free trial). Then:

Step 1: Create an Xholic API key
In Xholic, open Settings → API / MCP / CLI → Create API key. Choose what it can do and which X accounts it can use, then copy the key (it starts with xhk_).

Step 2: Add Xholic in Connectors
In Manus, open Connectors → Create → Add MCP by URL. Name it xholic and paste the server address.

Step 3: Add the key and save
Add your key as an Authorization header with the value Bearer xhk_…, then click Save and ask Manus: "Use Xholic: plan my week on X."

Why does Manus use an API key instead of signing in?

Manus's docs describe API keys and Bearer tokens for custom MCP servers. The key is yours: you choose its permissions and accounts when you create it, and you can revoke it anytime in Xholic.

Is Cue the same as Manus?

No. Cue is Manus's separate personal-agent app. It has its own Xholic guide.

Is Xholic free to use with Manus?

Xholic has a 7-day free trial with no card needed. After that, the MCP server, API and CLI are included in every plan, from $19 a month. Manus does the writing on its own plan, so Xholic doesn't charge for its AI.

Does Manus need my X password?

No. You connect your X account to Xholic once through X's official sign-in. Manus then signs in to Xholic through your browser, so it never sees your X password or a key.

Can Manus post to X without asking me?

Only if you allow it. When you approve Manus you choose what it can do: read, write drafts and lists, and publish. Untick Publish and it asks you first with a one-click link.
