Cue + Xholic

Give Cue your X account

Cue is Manus's personal-agent app, where each agent has its own computer. Paste Xholic's setup prompt into Cue and it connects itself, then drafts in your voice and lines up posts for you.

  • Paste one prompt; Cue connects itself
  • Its own computer keeps it working
  • API key fallback if it can't sign in

How to add the Xholic MCP server to Cue

Connect your X account to Xholic first (one click with X's official sign-in, during the free trial). Then:

  1. Step 1: Copy the setup prompt

Copy this prompt and paste it into your Cue agent's chat. It tells Cue exactly how to add Xholic and nothing else.

    Setup prompt
Set up Xholic for me. Xholic manages my X (Twitter) account: posts, scheduling, analytics, leads and notes.

    1. If you already have Xholic tools (for example get_me), skip step 2.
    2. Add https://api.xholic.ai/mcp as a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP, OAuth) named "xholic", for all projects, then sign in through the browser when it asks. Don't ask me for a key. Use your own setup command if you have one: Claude Code, claude mcp add --scope user --transport http xholic https://api.xholic.ai/mcp; Codex or the ChatGPT desktop app, codex mcp add xholic --url https://api.xholic.ai/mcp then codex mcp login xholic; Hermes, hermes mcp add xholic --url https://api.xholic.ai/mcp --auth oauth; OpenClaw, openclaw mcp add xholic --url https://api.xholic.ai/mcp --transport streamable-http with auth set to oauth, then openclaw mcp login xholic. Otherwise add it to your MCP config file. Tell me if I need to restart you to load it.
If you can't add MCP servers but can run commands, do step 4 now and use the xholic CLI it installs. If you can do neither, use the REST API at https://api.xholic.ai/v1 (docs: https://docs.xholic.ai/). It needs an API key, which I'll create in Xholic and give you as the XHOLIC_API_KEY environment variable. Never ask me to paste it in chat.
    3. Check it works by getting my profile (get_me, or xholic me get), then tell me which X account you're connected to.
    4. If you can run commands, also install the skill for every project: npx -y skills@1.7.1 add sjcodebook/xholic-agent -g -y. It teaches you how to use Xholic and installs the xholic CLI if needed. If it only reports that a few other agents don't support global installs, the skill is still installed. This step is optional when the Xholic tools already work: if it fails or takes more than two minutes, tell me in one line and carry on.
    5. Then ask if I'd like today's plan.

Only use the exact URL and package names above.
If a step other than step 4 fails, show me the exact error and stop. Don't try other servers, packages or workarounds.
Never post, send DMs or delete anything without asking me first.
  2. Step 2: Sign in when it asks

Cue adds Xholic and opens a sign-in link. Approve in Xholic: pick what Cue may do and which X accounts it can use.

  3. Step 3: Check it works

Cue reads your profile to confirm, then asks if you'd like today's plan.

  4. Step 4: If it can't sign in

Create an Xholic API key under Settings → API / MCP / CLI and give it to Cue as the XHOLIC_API_KEY environment variable or an Authorization: Bearer header. Never paste it into a public chat.

What can Cue do with Xholic?

Xholic gives Cue your X account, your audience and the actions to grow it. Cue does the thinking; Xholic does the posting, scheduling and tracking.

What is Cue?

Cue is a personal-agent app from Manus, launched with Manus 2.0 in September 2026 and invite-only for now. Each Cue agent has its own email, phone, wallet and cloud computer, on the web, desktop and mobile. Manus hasn't published MCP setup docs for Cue yet, so the setup prompt is the way in.

  • A personal agent

Each Cue agent has its own accounts and computer and works on your behalf.

  • By Manus

Cue is Manus's standalone app; Manus itself has its own Xholic guide.

  • Invite-only

Cue launched invite-only in September 2026.

What can you ask Cue to do in Xholic?

You decide what Cue can do

  • Choose read, write and publish access when you approve Cue. Untick publish and it asks you first.
  • In apps that can ask, every post and DM waits for your yes, showing exactly what goes out.
  • Cue only sees the X accounts you tick.
  • Everything it does is logged on its connection, with undo where X allows.
  • Billing, X account connections and security settings stay inside the Xholic app.
  • Disconnect it in one click from Settings → API / MCP / CLI.

FAQs

Cue and Xholic: questions

Setup, safety and pricing for using Xholic in Cue.

Is Cue the same as Manus?

No. Cue is Manus's separate personal-agent app. Manus adds Xholic in its Connectors; Cue connects through the setup prompt.

Why isn't there a settings page to add Xholic in Cue?

Manus hasn't documented custom MCP servers in Cue yet. The setup prompt works in any agent that can run commands or add servers itself, and the API key works where sign-in doesn't.

Is Xholic free to use with Cue?

Xholic has a 7-day free trial with no card needed. After that, the MCP server, API and CLI are included in every plan, from $19 a month. Cue does the writing on its own plan, so Xholic doesn't charge for its AI.

Does Cue need my X password?

No. You connect your X account to Xholic once through X's official sign-in. Cue then signs in to Xholic through your browser, so it never sees your X password or a key.

Can Cue post to X without asking me?

Only if you allow it. When you approve Cue you choose what it can do: read, write drafts and lists, and publish. Untick Publish and it asks you first with a one-click link. In apps that can show a confirmation, every post and DM waits for your yes and shows exactly what goes out. Authentication and permissions

Which X accounts can Cue use?

Only the ones you tick when you approve it, with one of them as the default. You can change that or disconnect Cue anytime in Xholic under Settings → API / MCP / CLI, and everything it does is logged there.

Use Xholic in every agent you use

One Xholic account works in all of them at once, with the same voice, memory and queue. People who use Cue often also connect Manus, Grok Bot and OpenClaw.
