Live follower tracking
Enter a public handle and the counter shows its current follower count, then re-reads it from X every 5 minutes while the page is open. A running total shows how many followers the account gained or lost since you opened the page, with a small chart of the session.
For a longer view, the page shows 7, 30 and 90-day history from follower snapshots Xholic has stored for the account. Set a milestone such as 10,000 followers and the counter projects the date the account will reach it at its recent pace. Add a second handle to watch two accounts side by side.
X itself doesn't offer a live counter, and its own number can lag too, so treat any 'live' count, including this one, as near real time.
Methodology
Each refresh reads the account's public follower count. Results are cached for up to a minute, so a refresh can return the same number twice in a row.
History uses snapshots Xholic has stored over time. New or rarely checked accounts may have short or no history. Milestone dates divide the remaining followers by the recent average daily change, so they move whenever growth speeds up or slows down.
How it works
Leave it open during a launch, a viral post or a livestream.
The current follower count appears immediately and starts refreshing.
The counter tracks the change since you opened the page and charts it minute by minute.
Switch to 7, 30 or 90 days to see whether today's change is unusual for the account.
Add a milestone to get a projected date, or add a second handle to race two accounts.
What the counter tracks
Context for the count, so a change means something.
Re-read from X every 5 minutes while the tab is visible. Pauses in the background and after 30 minutes idle.
See followers gained or lost since you opened the page.
Built from Xholic's stored snapshots, so you can see trends without having tracked the account yourself.
Enter a target and see the projected date at the account's recent growth rate.
Watch a rival, a co-founder or a friend's account next to yours.
Use cases
Moments when followers move fast enough to see.
See the follower response to a launch post as it happens.
Put the counter on screen during a stream or conference talk.
Watch the last few hundred followers before 10K, 100K or 1M.
Responsible use
The counter shows the public follower count and can lag X by a minute or more. It can't show who followed or unfollowed, and protected accounts' counts may not be available. Xholic AI is not affiliated with X Corp.
FAQ
How live the count is and what the history shows.
Close to it. The count is re-read from X every 5 minutes while the page is open, so it can trail X by up to about 5 minutes. No outside tool can show a truly instant number.
Enter their handle and open the 7, 30 or 90-day view. It uses follower snapshots Xholic has stored; if the account hasn't been tracked before, history starts building from now.
No. The counter shows totals only. Individual follows and unfollows aren't public.
X periodically removes spam and inactive accounts, which can cut follower counts across many profiles at once. People also unfollow after a controversial post.
It divides the followers still needed by the account's recent average daily gain. If the account is shrinking or flat, there's no projected date.
Yes. Add a second handle and both counts refresh side by side.
