From 3.5M views on @thesamparr's original posts in the last 30 days.
Rewards eligibility: likely
Rough estimate. X publishes no payout rate, so this assumes about $5–12 per 1M original-post impressions from reported creator payouts. Only Premium viewers’ impressions count, so real payouts can be much lower.

Man in the past ~4 weeks I've talked to like 3 or 4 creators in the tech space. Little 1-2 person businesses. Newsletter, podcast, the usual shit. Read by the VC, tech crowd. I've been doing this for like 15 years now. The numbers are nuts how much these people are pulling in and how its like no employees. I know this is a dead horse we're kicking here (is that the phrase), but these numbers are insane. Even small folks. Like small podcasts/newsletters/instagrams. The numbers, if you appeal to tech, are incredible. I don't think its going away btw. Like the ai boom, these company's have big ass budgets to spend. I think it'll just keep going. Any of you other nerds seeing this and have cool stories about this?

This show didn't get enough love: The Plastic Detox. Couples who couldn't conceive for years were told to use less plastic for 90 days. Plastic food containers, plastic wrap, utensils, underwear, clothes, etc. 90 days later 3/6 got pregnant. https://t.co/WytwmSg77M

P Terry's is a burger chain started in Austin, TX started by a husband and wife in 2005. They do ~$200m a year now. Each location is $3 million to $6 million in annual sales. In 2016 the couple took their first big dividend from the biz. "We took a little less than 10 million out. That's the only money we've ever taken out in all these years at P. Terry's, in 21 years." The founders seem like great people. They do interest free loans with employees, profit sharing, and a bunch of other cool stuff. Full write up: https://t.co/HpfW1c6g7v

I wish I owned Goodreads. It has SO MUCH potential. Yet, sucks in so many basic ways. Has the hardest part: tons of great reviews and a good community. Everything else...horrible. Search, list making, claude integration, so many more.

On My First Million, Mark Pincus laid out the whole Zynga thesis. Find a mature market that's dead and played out, that VCs won't touch, but that still has a lot of money in it. For him that was video games. In 2007 it was a $23b industry, barely growing, not fundable. Today it's $283b and still not fundable. His line: we're living in 2007 again, consumer isn't investable, so go do consumer.
