The best Black Magic alternatives for X

Black Magic was a popular analytics sidebar for X from the Hypefury team: it showed stats right beside your feed and doubled as a lightweight CRM. It shut down on July 1, 2026, and active subscriptions were cancelled. If you relied on seeing numbers without leaving X, these are the tools that come closest, and what each one actually shows in the feed.

Why people switch

Why people look for a Black Magic alternative

  • Black Magic shut down on July 1, 2026, so the sidebar and its data are gone.
  • Active subscriptions were cancelled, so there is nothing left to renew or wait for.
  • Hypefury, the team behind it, also dropped X support, so there is no sister product on X to move to.

    Xholic

    $29/mo3-day trial, $0 today

Xholic's Chrome extension adds a panel beside your X feed. Its Analytics tab shows followers, impressions, likes, reposts, replies and bookmarks for any profile you open, plus a posting heatmap, best times to post and estimated creator earnings. A Contacts tab and an Add to Contacts button on profiles cover the lightweight CRM side, and a reply wand sits in every X reply box.

    Best for
Black Magic users who want in-feed analytics for any profile, a simple contact list, and help writing replies.
    Honest limitation
No free plan: the extension works only with a paid plan or the 3-day trial. Analytics cover your own account plus up to 40 other profiles a day, and earnings are rough estimates, not payouts from X.

    Best for

    Honest limitation
The free sidebar shows top posts, not the full analytics Black Magic did, and the X CRM starts on the $49 Grow plan.

    Circleboom

    $12.99/mo yearlyLimited free demo

Circleboom analyzes followers on your account and other accounts: fake and inactive followers, account search and cleanup tools like bulk unfollow and bulk delete.

    Best for
People who want to audit followers or clean up an old profile rather than watch stats in the feed.
    Honest limitation
No sidebar on X is described, and key follower features are capped by account size, with prices that rise with follower count.

How to choose

Which one fits you

If you want stats beside your feed

Xholic and SuperX both show analytics for other profiles in a Chrome extension while you browse X. Xholic adds estimated creator earnings and a reply wand. SuperX adds a public API if you build your own tools.

If you mostly studied other accounts' best posts

Tweet Hunter's free sidebar lists the top posts of any account you visit. It's a free way to keep that habit, though it isn't a full analytics view.

If you used Black Magic as a CRM

Xholic's Contacts let you save people from their profile and build lists from followers, repliers and reposters. Tweet Hunter's X CRM on Grow builds lists from keywords and interactions. Circleboom is better for auditing an audience than tracking relationships.

Xholic's Chrome extension adds a panel beside your X feed with analytics for any profile you open, estimated earnings, a contact list and a reply wand. SuperX's extension also shows analytics for other accounts while you browse. Xholic Chrome extension

Is there a free Black Magic alternative?

Tweet Hunter's extension sidebar is free and shows the top posts of any account you visit. It doesn't show the full stats Black Magic did. Xholic has a 3-day trial rather than a free plan.

Can I see analytics for other people's X profiles?

Yes. Xholic's extension shows followers, impressions, engagement, posting times and estimated earnings for your own account and up to 40 other profiles a day. SuperX's extension and Circleboom's follower analysis also cover other accounts.

Can I move my Black Magic data to another tool?

Black Magic's service is closed, so there's nothing to import. Xholic can import your X history for your own analytics, and the extension reads public stats for other profiles as you open them.

What happened to Hypefury on X?

Hypefury, from the same team, removed X support in mid-2026. Its pricing FAQ now says it no longer supports X. Hypefury alternatives
