Username and ID lookup
Every X account has a numeric user ID that never changes, even when the @username does. Developers need it for the X API, and marketers use it to keep tracking an account after a rename. Enter a username to get its ID, or enter an ID to find the profile that owns it today.
Results include a profile card with the name, handle, avatar and follower counts, so you can confirm it's the right account. The ID is returned as an exact string, because X IDs are too long for JavaScript numbers and get rounded by many tools.
How it works
The tool detects which direction you mean.
A handle, @handle or profile URL is treated as a username. A number is treated as a user ID.
Check the name and avatar on the result card to make sure it's the account you meant.
Copy it as text and paste it into your code, spreadsheet or API request.
What you get
Small details that avoid subtle bugs.
Username to ID, or ID back to the current username and profile.
Long IDs are kept as exact text so they're never rounded.
Name, handle, avatar, followers and following shown with every result.
Use cases
Anyone tracking an account over time or through code.
Most X API endpoints take user IDs, not usernames.
Find an account again after it changes its handle.
Store IDs instead of handles so lists don't break when people rename.
Responsible use
The converter returns public profile information for public accounts. Use IDs to build tools and keep records accurate, not to track or harass individuals. Xholic AI is not affiliated with X Corp.
FAQ
User IDs, renames and API use.
A unique number X assigns to every account when it's created. Unlike the @username, it never changes.
Enter your username above and copy the ID from the result.
No. That's why IDs are the reliable way to track an account across renames.
Yes. Enter the number and the tool shows the profile that currently owns it, if it's still public.
X IDs are larger than JavaScript can store exactly as numbers, so tools that convert them lose the last digits. This converter keeps the ID as a string.
