Tweet screenshot generator
A phone screenshot of a tweet comes with a status bar, a reply box, notifications and whatever was above and below the post. Cropping it by hand rarely looks clean. This tool reads the public post from its link and draws it again in X's own layout: the author's name, handle, photo and badge, the text with mentions and links in blue, images and video frames, the date and the counts.
Nothing about the post can be edited here, and that's on purpose: the picture is a screenshot of what was actually posted. You only choose the frame. Pick X's light, dim or dark theme, put the card on a solid color, a gradient or a transparent background, set the padding and the shape (square and portrait for Instagram and LinkedIn, landscape for slides), and hide the counts or the date if they distract from the words.
The download is a 2x PNG, sharp on retina screens and in decks, or you can copy the image straight to the clipboard. A small "Made with Xholic" mark sits under the card by default; switch it off if you'd rather not have it. Only public posts work, because protected accounts' posts aren't public.
How it works
Three steps: paste the link, frame it, download it.
On X, tap the share icon under the post and choose Copy link. Any x.com or twitter.com post link works.
The tool loads the public post: text, author, photo, badge, date, images and counts.
Choose light, dim or dark, then no background, a solid color or a gradient.
Choose the padding and a square, portrait, landscape or auto shape, and show or hide the counts, the date and the Xholic mark.
Download a 2x PNG or copy the image to paste into a deck, doc, chat or design tool.
What you get
The post stays exactly as it was published; the frame is yours.
Text, name, handle, photo, badge, date, media and counts come from X, and none of them can be changed here.
Light, dim and dark, drawn with X's own colors, so the card matches what people see in the app.
Transparent, four solid colors or five gradients, from Xholic violet to soft mist.
Square and portrait for Instagram and LinkedIn, landscape for slides and video, or auto to hug the post.
Turn off the counts, the date or the Xholic mark when the words are the point.
Download at twice the on-screen size, or copy the image straight to the clipboard.
Use cases
Anywhere a post needs to travel beyond X.
Share a post you wrote, or one you're responding to, as a square or portrait image.
Quote a post in a deck or a client report without a cropped phone screenshot.
Show the post as people saw it, in a picture that loads anywhere.
Turn a post that did well into a clean graphic for your portfolio or launch page.
Responsible use
This tool only draws posts exactly as they were published, so the image is an honest record of what was said. Credit the author when you share someone else's post, respect their rights to their words and images, and don't crop away context in a way that changes the meaning. To mock up a post that doesn't exist, use the fake tweet generator and label the result as a mockup. Xholic AI is not affiliated with X Corp.
FAQ
Links, privacy, sizes and what can be changed.
Copy the post's link from X's share menu, paste it above and press Make image. Choose the theme, background, padding and shape, then download the PNG or copy it.
No. Tweet to Image shows the real post as it was published, so the text, author and counts can't be changed. If you need a mockup, use the fake tweet generator instead and label it as a mockup.
No. We can only show public posts. A deleted post, or one from a protected account, can't be loaded by anyone outside the account.
The card is 744 pixels wide at 1x and the PNG is exported at 2x, so it's at least 1488 pixels wide. Padding adds to that, and square, portrait and landscape shapes add background space to reach the shape. The exact size is shown under the preview.
Yes. Choose None as the background and the PNG keeps a transparent background around the card, ready to place on any color.
They're read from X when you load the post and can be a little behind the live post. Hide them if exact numbers matter.
No. The tool reads public data only. It never asks for your X password and never posts anything.
Yes. Untick Made with Xholic under Show and it's gone from the preview and the download.
