No. Xholic is independent of X Corp. The Xholic API works on the X accounts you connected to Xholic through X's official sign-in, so you don't need an X developer account, X API keys or X API billing.
API, MCP and CLI access is included in every Xholic plan, including the trial, at no extra price. Your own AI does the writing at no Xholic cost. Reading your stored data is free within rate limits, live X lookups use the plan's X data limits, posting uses the usual post credits, and Xholic's own AI always shows a credit quote before it runs. No. A new connection can't post at all until you allow it with one click, and in apps that can ask, every post and DM waits for your confirmation first.
