From 3.5M views on @ChrisWillx's original posts in the last 30 days.

@ChrisWillx ·
I’ve got the sense that there are three levels of productivity: inputs, outputs, and outcomes Most people stop at the first two then wonder why nothing in their life actually changes. I call this "The Input-Output Delusion". Inputs are effort applied “I sat at my desk for eight hours.” “I spent two hours drafting outreach messages.” “I went to the gym five times this week.” Inputs feel noble. They prove you’re working hard. But you can spend all day trying and still be no closer to the thing you want. Outputs are work done “I sent fifty emails.” “I published four blog posts.” “I completed all my programmed workouts.” Outputs feel even better because you can count them. You can look at the spreadsheet and think, I’m being productive. But outputs don’t prove impact. - You can send fifty emails and get no replies. - You can publish four podcasts that don’t move your audience. - You can lift weights every day without changing your diet and see zero results. It’s motion, not…

You don’t have to be worthy, but you do have to know what it is that you want. “You have to focus. Try to do that. Try writing out what it is you want and condensing it down until you’ve reduced it to a concise statement of desire or intent. Your path can only be meandering and your life a blur until you do that.” - Jed McKenna

A marketing executive’s perspective on masculinity. “Just one word from someone who grew up in the 1970s: what is strange to me is that the people who embody the manosphere in 2026 would have looked massively gay in 1976. This, to me, always puts a dent in the idea that there is a constant, evolved, and unchanging masculine ideal.” — Rory Sutherland

Marital Duels were a thing. In parts of the medieval Holy Roman Empire, husbands and wives could have a legal fight, called a marital duel, to solve their arguments. Interestingly, the husband had to fight in a hole and with one arm tied. The wife could move around freely but had to carry weighted cloth. Her weapon was usually a bag filled with rocks, while the man got three clubs. If he touched the hole’s edge during the fight, he lost one club. Before the fight, couples were given a month or two to try and solve their problems. If they couldn’t agree, then the duel would happen. If the husband lost, his head would be cut off. If the wife lost, she would be buried alive. — h/t @fasc1nate

Some Brits are afraid of the petrol station. 2,000 UK motorists were asked about anxiety associated with filling up at petrol stations. 62% of drivers aged 18–24 reported experiencing “refuel anxiety.” 50% of people experiencing refuel anxiety said they’d allowed their tank to become “dangerously low” because they were putting off visiting a petrol station. 25% had actually run out of fuel on the road after delaying refuelling. Among Gen Z, more than two-thirds reportedly had asked a partner, friend or family member to fill their car for them.
