Rough estimate. X publishes no payout rate, so this assumes about $5–12 per 1M original-post impressions from reported creator payouts. Only Premium viewers’ impressions count, so real payouts can be much lower.

Reminder to go touch grass A scientist in Japan demonstrated that the air inside a forest strengthens your immune system for a full month The study is incredibly fascinating: Qing Li, an immunologist at Nippon Medical School in Tokyo, took 12 men on a 3-day forest trip. These were slow walks with no breathing exercises and no set route. Then he tested their blood and found a surge in natural killer cells -- the immune cells your body uses to fight cancer and virus-infected cells. Remarkably, the effect didn't fade when they went home, it was still measurable 30 days later. A control group that walked the same distance through a city showed no change at all. Pine, cedar, and cypress trees release compounds called phytoncides to defend themselves from insects and bacteria. You breathe them in, and Li believes they switch your immune cells into high gear. He estimates one forest walk a month may be enough to keep those cells elevated all year. The best medicine might not even need a prescription -- just a walk among the trees.

We just launched the Reddit for AI use cases. A place for builders to learn from other builders on how they're using AI to get ahead in life, work, and business. The submissions have been INCREDIBLE so far. A few of my favorites:

Mark Zuckerberg is running Meta's superintelligence lab like a startup. When I interviewed him, he told me the principles on how he built the team: "You don't need many hundreds of people. You need 50 to 100 people. It's a group science project who can keep the whole thing in their head at once. Seats on the boat are precious." "If someone is not pulling their weight on that, it has this huge negative effect in the way that it doesn't have on other parts of the company" "I wanna know who the top AI researchers are, and I wanna personally have relationships with them, and build the strongest team we can." His rules for running it: - If someone isn't pulling their weight, it has an outsized negative effect, so he personally went out and recruited every top researcher himself - No top-down deadlines. "It's research. You don't know how long the thing is gonna take." - Keep the org flat. No non-technical management layers, because once someone stops doing the work, "the knowledge decays."

AI enhanced journaling is changing my life I've been running a Wispr Flow + Claude Cowork workflow that turns rambles into structured data and action items Super simple setup: 1. After meetings/events (or whenever I have a big idea), I open my phone and ramble everything into an Apple note using Wispr Flow, completely unstructured 2. The only goal is getting it out of my head before I forget and turning those nuggets into data 3. Those Apple notes sync to my Mac automatically, where a scheduled Claude task runs at night 4. It reads every voice note I dumped while I sleep, no copying or pasting 5. Claude structures the mess inside my Notion for me in the morning: key ideas, action items, and suggested deep work blocks in my GCal 6. Next morning over coffee, I review and action them The benefits are follow-ups I promised getting flagged, half-formed ideas getting structured, and deep work blocks booked automatically Plus over time, this becomes a searchable log of every idea I've had all year And I never touched my keyboard once :)

Many people were doubting Meta's position in the AI race. Yesterday, they dropped Muse Spark 1.1, now one of the strongest agentic models, and massively undercut OpenAI and Anthropic on price. When I interviewed Zuck last year, he told me his focus: "Have by far the highest compute per researcher, and that we do whatever it takes to go build out all that capacity." These are the first real signs that the bet -- spending tens of billions on compute -- is paying off. Meta's stock is now up over 10% since the release.

I interviewed Sundar Pichai, and he made an interesting prediction for where we'll be in 3 years: "Any content can go from any modality to any modality. It doesn't matter how the content was originally created -- people can consume it in many different forms." "I'm very confident three years from now you will look back at what we have today and realize it was pretty primitive. It's like looking at a flip phone." For example, YouTube clips become blogs, newsletters become podcasts without recording. In this world, consumers would choose the format, and creators just supply the ideas, brand, and personality. Net-net, I think this is a good thing for content. It kills the "more content" strategy because when anyone can produce everything, volume stops being an advantage. So, the creators who win will focus on quality. People confuse slop with AI, but they're not the same thing. Plenty of creators already use AI in their workflows and get zero hate -- people just don't realize it. Also, YouTube's new policies target slop, not AI. If the content is good, people don't care how it was made.
