Monetization
Estimated X creator earnings
$0–$0 in the last 30 days
From 36.7K views on @drjasonfung's original posts in the last 30 days.
Rewards eligibility: likely
Rough estimate. X publishes no payout rate, so this assumes about $5–12 per 1M original-post impressions from reported creator payouts. Only Premium viewers’ impressions count, so real payouts can be much lower.

What happened to 'statins save lives'? In this 31,000 person RCT over 7 years, CVD screening put 44.33% of people on statins (compared to 30.25% in non screening) but prevented neither deaths nor CV events (HR 0.96). Funny how I don't see this trial EVER being discussed by cardiologists. One major difference with this trial compared to so many other statin trials is that it is not funded by a statin maker. https://t.co/pZKoh6AnYe

Cardiologists, 'lipid experts', social media influencers were all 100% sure that Lp(a) is causative. Based on genetic and epidemiologic data that can never prove causality.

Just insane how unproven treatments become standard of care. But not all treatments, just the highly profitable ones like antivirals

Not surprised Lp(a) drug failed. Genetic and epidemiology data never ever prove causality despite the many proclamations by longevity influencers, cardiologists and ‘lipid experts’ https://t.co/fiXi5sTxcG

Not sure who so many doctors are hung up on animal fats in the diet. We eat so little already, and it's dropped so much since the 1930s https://t.co/BLMG6Ye2jm

Fascinating. The WW2 UK food rationing provided about 3000 calories per day. Yet there was virtually no obesity. Why? Because obesity depends more on what your body does with the calories (Store them vs Burn them) rather than total number of calories.

GLPs in obese adolescents may double or triple risk of biliary problems - "GLP-1 RA therapy was associated with increased cumulative biliary risk in youths, particularly for biliary colic, cholecystectomy, and time-dependent biliary outcomes. Time-to-event analyses demonstrated 2- to 3-fold higher HRs across all biliary outcomes" https://t.co/oVKH9LGOQk
