Estimated X creator earnings

$22–$54 in the last 30 days

From 4.5M views on @LynAldenContact's original posts in the last 30 days.

Rewards eligibility: likely

Rough estimate. X publishes no payout rate, so this assumes about $5–12 per 1M original-post impressions from reported creator payouts. Only Premium viewers’ impressions count, so real payouts can be much lower.

You can be globally compassionate as a person and still feel that your society should have careful borders and that local cultures matter, and should be preserved if they're clearly doing well. These actually aren't in contradiction.

The tragedy of it all is that rioting against inflation and cost of living by destroying stores just increases inflation and cost of living. Fiscal issues lead to social issues, which lead to more fiscal issues and more social issues.

Nobody is "losing the end" of the bond curve. The yield curve is flat, not steep. Rather, some people are losing the argument for what interest rates should be in this environment and the market is adjusting accordingly. Nothing stops this train.

Some people ask me if I'm less involved in FinTwit these days. My answer is not really. I love y'all. It's my work. But as social media gets sillier and with AI, rather than repeat what I've said, I'm more selective. Quality over quantity. I try to emphasize signal.

I appreciate the mention. Great discussion. I'd clarify that it's not just about what's "allowed." Rather, it's about what's mathematically baked in. The US is pre-running potential recessions with 7% stimulatory deficits. That shapes potential recessions; doesn't outlaw them.

The inflation is indeed coming in waves. It’s not extreme, and I keep saying there’s nothing to write home about in the near term. But across developed countries, inflation is persistently above-target for years now.

Your occasional reminder that nobody has "lost control of the long end" of the bond market. The yield curve is flat. Yields are broadly high, from short to long, because inflation is persistently above-target.

Zuko and Katara vs Azula was a better climax fight than Aang vs Ozai, imo. Ozai was too easy, too bland, vs the literal avatar. Zuko had to beat his technical superior Azula with superior wisdom, i.e. a thematic win w/ what he learned, and Katara had to seal it. Great battle.

I like to go out of my way to promote my least-sensationalist interviewers. This was one of them. We talked about investing psychology rather than what was going to blow up next. No thumbnails of me smiling in front of a background of burning dollars. 😅 Good listen, imo.

Sometimes it's the person not being right for the job, but more broadly the weirder the situation gets, the harder it is to be the one to stand up there and try to explain why things aren't weird.

As a structural bond bear, I actually don’t find this recent bear surge in bonds surprising. The yield curve is still flat, nothing is broken. It’s almost expected. But now, the more people talk about it, the more I might become neutral on bonds.

I briefly got into some nostalgic Pokémon tweets and now that’s my new “for you” feed. It’s like bond yields mixed with Pokémon now. It’s almost as though the “for you” feed is a snapshot of your weakest moments locked in for the next few weeks.

Over time, AI will make informational content cheaper and cheaper. What's left? Silicon Valley people call it "taste", and I think that's valid. Financially, that means signal. What you'll notice from me is what I choose to object to. The exceptions. That's signal.
